Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Adopt a Stray Baby Kitten

The “Hollaback Girl” singer revealed the adoption of a cat they named Corn Shelton in an Instagram post shared on Thursday, September 26.
Stefani, 54, shared that she and Shelton, 48, decided to eat a kitten after nursing a sick cat back to health.
“The day he came home, he wasn’t very alive,” Stefani wrote alongside the cat’s video. “But with lots of love + nurturing, she became a healthy kitten.”
He added: “We are very grateful that you are part of our family.”
Stefani and Shelton met while working Voice in 2015 and they quickly fell for each other after their breakup since Gavin Rossdale again Miranda Lambert, respectively. They had their first public date at the Oscars in 2016.
After five years together, Shelton finally popped the question in October 2020 and opened up about his proposal — and how it almost went wrong — in an interview with. The Bobby Bones Show a few months later.
“To be honest with you — and this is scary — I had a ring in my room in my truck for about a week,” Shelton said during a December 2020 interview. “I don’t know about you, but things just fall out of that damn thing in my truck all the time. … I kept thinking, ‘Man, somebody’s going to hit the jackpot whenever I pull this thing out of my truck.’ I wanted to keep it there all the time because I never knew when I would have the exact moment. But thank God, I didn’t lose the ring.”
The couple finally exchanged vows in July 2021 in an intimate ceremony at Shelton Farm in Oklahoma.
At the time, the source said Us Weekly that Stefani’s father walked her down and added that her sons, Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 10 (her ex, Rossdale), were also part of the ceremony.
“They were identified as part of a family of five,” the insider said. “Blake and Gwen had feelings. Blake had tears in his eyes as he said his vows to Gwen when he saw her in the chapel he built for their love.”
On the special occasion of the 10th anniversary Voice In May 2021, Shelton got on top of the “Don’t Talk” singer.
“People ask me all the time, ‘What’s the biggest thing that’s happened to you since Voice?’” he shared. “That doesn’t make sense, does it? I met my fiancee here. It’s hard to resist Gwen Stefani. You know, here’s this rock star to coach Voice in a black van. I was happy about that.”
For her part, Stefani has also publicly shared her love for her husband, revealing during a December 2020 appearance on Zane Lowe’s “At Home With Apple Music” podcast that Shelton is “her best friend.”
“We tell each other everything. I don’t want to do anything without him. He is my son,” he explained. “And he is a very generous, giving person. You are full of love and generosity. And like you said, he’s a smart, smart guy too. So you feel safe, you can lean on him and trust him.”
