Love Is Blind’s Ashley and Tyler Split After Sperm Donor Drama
Love Is Blind season 7 alum Ashley Adionser she is separated from her husband Tyler Francis after one year of marriage.
“After much thought, I want to tell you that Tyler and I have been separated for a few weeks and have now made the difficult decision to end our marriage,” Adioner, 32, said in a statement. People on Tuesday, January 21. “Although I hoped for mutual understanding and transparency in our relationship, it has become clear that our ways are no longer compatible, which makes me unable to continue with this marriage.”
Adioner added that the decision to quit was not easy, but clarified that it was “necessary.”
“This was not a decision that I took lightly, but one that I know is important for me to grow and be at peace,” he continued. “As this chapter closes, I will always cherish the time and love we shared. I kindly ask for privacy during this personal time as I focus on healing and building a new future. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
In their season Love Is Blindaired in October 2024, Adioner and Francis connected – and got engaged – in pods. After seeing each other face to face for the first time, Adionser got her engagement ring and the couple went on a getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
After their romance, Adionser and Francis moved together to Washington DC for a “trial marriage.” It was then that Francis revealed that he had many children. According to the military veteran, he donated his sperm to a friend who was unable to have children.
“You’ve been running around talking about how we’re getting married, but you’ve also been running around saying you want to have children now. And it’s like, ‘Whoa,'” Adioner said in the October 2024 episode. “How did you like talking about all that? I can’t wrap my mind around it without considering your future at all?”
Although Adioner was upset that Francis had kept that information from him at first, the two ended up saying “I do.” Adioner later disclosed that the mother who gave birth to the children reached out to him and apologized.
“I will say that he wrote to me on Instagram and apologized to me and Tyler. [She] he said he was praying for us, he didn’t mean for it to go this way. He’s not going to say much in this forum,” he recalled on a November 2024 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “He wrote me again and said it’s okay if I don’t want to answer and he knows my world is going crazy right now and he didn’t mean to hurt me.”
