While appearing on Friday, January 17, the episode of The Late ShowWinslet, 49, told the host Stephen Colbert for what he refers to as “the most terrifying animal” in the world.
“I’m not smart about cows,” he told Colbert, 60, to laughter from the nurse and his studio audience. “No, no, no listen, here’s the thing. Someone said to me, ‘Oh, you have to learn to read the field of cows, you have, you have to be careful because if they turn, they are gone.’
I Lee The star continued to recall the advice he received, explaining that if you see, “their tails are swishin’ and they’re swishing like that and there’s flies,” it means they’re not happy. “They might charge you,” he recalled hearing.

Winslet added that she never realized how dangerous cows can be, telling Colbert that she goes “hiking all the time,” where she often wanders “into cow fields.”
“I decided they were going to beat me to the ground,” Winslet concluded with a straight face. The speech made Colbert wonder, “Has this ever happened?” what Winslet revealed was that the cows had indeed hunted him and his mother in the past.
“They were looking at it slowly and quickly, really,” Winslet said. “The border [a] a few golfers, I’d say. However, there are a lot of stories in England about people running against the worst cattle. Very original. Therefore, I am very wary of the cattle field.”
He added that he wants to “get better at dealing with his fears,” telling Colbert, “They’re not really afraid, are they? No, they’re not,” before adding that being wary of cows was “a legitimate fear.”
Colbert’s simple interview question was part of what the TV host calls “The Colbert Questionert,” which consists of 15 interview questions to help him get to know his guests. Previous celebrities who have participated in the series of often awkward interviews include George Clooney, Meryl Streep again Tom Hanks.

As for Winslet, the concern over her cow follows the actress’ apparent recollection of one of her most famous on-screen moments. During the September 26 episode of the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, hosted by Josh HorowitzWinslet revealed that she and The Titanic the costar Leonardo DiCaprio filmed its infamous scene in “waist-length” water.
“That was an unusual tank, that one,” Winslet told Horowitz. “For the bubble to burst, it was waist-high, that tank. First of all, I used to say, ‘Hey, I can just go pee,’ and I’d get up, go down the door, walk to the edge of the tank about 20 feet away, and I’d have to throw my leg up and climb out of the tank to pee and crawl back to the door again.”
He also added that DiCaprio, 49, was on his knees the whole time filming his (spoiler alert) place of death, which has been hotly debated for years.
