LeBron Admits From The Heart About Playing With Bronny
LeBron has achieved almost everything he could in the world of basketball, but he says his greatest achievement is playing with his son Bronny.
“When it comes to titles, that’s one different thing, but to be able to be in this league and to play in this league and to be able to do it with Bronny right now, that’s like another big achievement and maybe the best. the most successful I’ve ever been able to do,” said James in New Heights.
James said the reason he feels that way is not just because he has played 22 seasons in the league.
Like, working with your son – I’ve heard it from a lot of people, not just in sports but I’ve heard it in business as well [other] lifestyles, and they say it’s the greatest thing you’ll ever have,” said James. “Seeing him every day grinding and going through the process of trying to be who he wants to be … and doing the things he wants to do and being able to just take it all in, helps me find more minutes and hours and years that I didn’t have with him because I was playing a lot and on the road doing my own thing.
“So being able to get this time back now, man, is very important.”
When LeBron entered the league as a youngster, he faced a lot of scrutiny, but Bronny’s was worse. It’s part of what makes LeBron proud of his elder.
“Yeah, and I didn’t have to deal with social media challenges growing up,” LeBron said. “And I didn’t have to deal with my dad being this walking guy, Bronny had to deal with all that. And if you’ve ever met Bronny then you’ll see, I’m a fool to look down on him or not want him to do good. He is the coolest, easiest, and funnest kid in the world. He goes to work, comes home, takes care of his body, plays his video games, studies, and does the same thing.
He is the biggest brother his little brother and little sister will ever have. You’re dealing with all that again. But that will make him even bigger, because he has to deal with all the things he’s going through, and be able to come back from a life-threatening situation and be motivated. He didn’t need to. Bronny doesn’t need to play basketball at all. It’s not like you need the money. He can do whatever he wants to do. If he wants to be the CEO of my company, he can be that. I would start teaching him right now to be that. But he says this is my job and my goals and these are my wishes. And I want to play football. I love that child, he is beautiful.”
