In a video shared on TikTok on Friday, January 10, Pratt, 41, asked her followers to watch and like a previous video shared on her account, featuring the song “What It Feels Like” by Aly & AJ.
“I will go up to $1,100 on TikTok if it is one of the 10 most popular TikToks with this song, so maybe $200 means, but it can go up to $1,100,” he explained in the video. “So, if you’re lonely, please go like that last video. It’s a really good song and Aly and AJ wear Pratt Daddy Crystals — my friend Amber goes to all their shows and gives them all the crystals so it’s kind of a real promo since they wear my crystals. I also want to get that $1,100.”
In a subsequent video, Pratt again asked his followers to add a wife Heidi Montag on Spotify and other streaming platforms.
But Pratt’s plea for help on social media has drawn criticism.
“Some demonic monster just wrote on my IG and tagged me, ‘Spencer is definitely going to milk his burnt house for every dollar it’s worth.’ Duh. Duh. That’s right. Let me get all the dollars I can get,” Pratt said in a video about the controversy, which was shared on TikTok on Friday.
“How do you people have no brains? Are you just stupid living creatures?” he continued. “I’m really trying to get money to pay for my life and my family because our house and all our belongings burned down. And if I can do it on social media, I’ve only been making the money I’ve made for years now continuously, showing my journey through the fire of our house and all our things, don’t you think I’m going? to continue milking every dollar?”
Pratt concluded, “I’d rather have my own home and no social media, let me tell you that much. I would like to have everything in my house and get rid of all these stupid apps. I would very much like that. So, yes, I will continue to ‘milk’ our grief on social media.”
She also advised fans on how they can help her and Montag, 38, including watching The hillswhere both Pratt and Montag played in the 2000s.
“Well, I’d rather you watch anything in the world.” The hills. Don’t give that show one dollar, or that narrator one brain cell to listen to his voice,” he said in a video shared on TikTok, referring to Lauren Conrad. “No, there are no remains. So, great, I’d rather you watch the paint dry, tag me [you] staring at the wall – that would help my health a lot. Don’t waste your energy on watching The hills thinking that helps our lives.”
Pratt and Montag have been married since 2008. The hills The students lost their home in the Pacific Palisades wildfire, which first broke out on Tuesday, January 7. When their home burned, the couple was out with their three children: sons Gunner, 6, and Ryker, 13 months.
In a video shared by Montag on TikTok on Thursday, January 9, the couple revealed the few things left in their house after the fire, all in one plastic bag.
“Hummingbird pot – with nectar cooked in it,” Pratt said in the video, and “the nectar [rubber] a snake in the yard, a single crystal in the yard, [another] the crystal in the backyard, Ryker’s shovel in the backyard and the broken pieces.”

When the couple packed up their house to move out, it was obvious that they couldn’t take all of their things with them. In another social media video, Montag explained that “the worst thing about packing fire [is] your mind is just wandering.”
He added, “It is very difficult to clean up the house. I mean I only have two pairs of jeans, two shirts. I got a lot of baby clothes. I’m like, ‘Why didn’t I catch more?’ I’m thankful that I caught anything and that’s a blessing and the most important thing is that we’re safe.”
Despite their struggles, Pratt gave fans an encouraging update, thanking them for their support after wife Heidi Montag’s album, “Superficial,” topped the iTunes Store charts following his pleas on social media.
“God. Bless. All of you. Number 15 in the iTunes Store. This is an amazing surprise,” Pratt said in an Instagram post on Saturday, January 11. “If we get this number one it’s official – Heidi is a pop legend. He is walking in the history books. He’s already in my history books, that’s for sure.”
Pratt went on to say that Montag’s album topping the iTunes Store charts is “probably the best thing I’ve ever dreamed of… besides I still have my house and everything I own.”
“But don’t worry, we are on the way to becoming rich and famous. I will not forget you when I am rich and famous,” he continued. “I will be the richest celebrity you have ever supported in your lies. I love you all, thank you very much.”
