If you would like to join a group yoga class, Wild Rose Studio is a dedicated yoga studio located in the heart of the old city, housed in a beautifully renovated traditional Thai wooden house, providing a tranquil environment that greatly enhanced our yoga experience. The studio offers a variety of yoga styles, allowing participants to choose according to their interests and skill level, whether they want a more meditative practice or something more physically challenging. The small, intimate place is warm and welcoming, equipped with all the necessary amenities and equipment. After your class, it’s easy to explore the nearby cafes or temples, completing a great day of health and relaxation in Chiang Mai.
Everything you need to plan your trip in 2024
Vegan dining experience at Moreganic
The varied and creative menu at Moreganic, the vegan restaurant at Away Chiang Mai, has something for everyone, with enough plant-based options to ensure you can enjoy a variety of delicious plant-based meals on each visit. We were duly impressed with our vegan Thai lunch at Moreganic, with soft tofu in our favorite curry sauce, and this paired well with pineapple fried rice with cashews and vegan ham.
In keeping with the wellness theme of Away Chiang Mai they don’t serve alcohol at Moreganic, but please be sure to choose from one of the fun mocktails on the menu, or even a cold bottle of Heineken 0.0 non-alcoholic beer. is one of our favorites.
Vegan food at Goodsouls Kitchen
Goodsouls Kitchen has been welcoming discerning diners since 2017 with their rich and varied selection of delicious plant-based food. Whether you wish to enjoy vegan versions of Thai classics such as massaman curry, pad Thai and khao soi, or crave vegan pizzas or vegan burgers, Goodsouls Kitchen has it for you.
The welcoming atmosphere and warm atmosphere make this one of the best vegan dining options in Chiang Mai and rightly so. Whatever you do, make sure you order a slice or two of these decadent vegan cakes, we guarantee you won’t regret your decision.
Pamper yourself at Fah Lanna Spa
What better way to end your wellness weekend in Chiang Mai than with a four-hour spa trip to Fah Lanna Spa in the heart of the old city. Our package was called ‘Fah Lanna Mahabhirom’, in addition to the unique massage it included herbal steam, royal bath, exfoliating body scrub and five facial steps. The unique and simple pleasure massage was a combination of traditional Thai massage, aromatherapy oil massage and Tok Sen massage which is an ancient northern Thai practice using a wooden hammer made from the bark of the tamarind tree.
Our couples package at Fah Lanna Spa was a truly memorable and deeply relaxing experience, right up there as one of the best we have ever enjoyed.
Chiang Mai has become a ‘must visit’ destination for discerning travelers seeking spas, yoga and delicious plant-based cuisine. Choosing to stay at a vegan place like Away Chiang Mai Thapae makes everything a lot easier as they provide you with everything you could wish for.
