Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund’s Son Rhodes Celebrates Fourth Birthday

Both Roberts, 33, and Hedlund, 40, shared photos of Rhodes using their Instagram accounts on Thursday, December 27.
“Happy birthday angel boy ❤️ 4!!” Roberts, who dated Hedlund for three years before they called it quits in 2022, wrote.
On the other hand, Hedlund shared his photos of Rhodes and wrote a message of love next to the photos of father and son.

“Happy Fourth Birthday to my beloved Rhodes!” Hedlund wrote. “‘My place where the roses grow.’ My heart. ❤️ Here’s to our new year of endless travel!!!”
Fans quickly noticed the strong resemblance between Rhode and her mother in particular, flocking to the comments section to point out the striking similarity in appearance.
“Tell me you’re Emma Roberts’ son without saying anything! He’s twice yours!❤️” one follower wrote on Robert’s post, while another added, “Have a MOM face.”
Echoing the sentiment, another fan wrote, “I can see Robert’s blood is strong!” Another comment read, “He’s already 4 years old!!! @emmaroberts your mini to me. HBD Roadie ❤️❤️”
Roberts and Hedlund kept their relationship out of the public eye while dating. They were first linked in 2019 and news broke in August 2020 that they were expecting their first child together.
“Garrett is looking forward to being a father and he feels like this is something he’s needed,” a source told Us exclusively in November 2020. “He’s ready to do all the duties of a father, and Emma’s pregnancy has forced him to be more responsible. He thinks that’s a blessing.”
Hedlund and Roberts finally called time on their relationship in January 2022 and an insider told Us Weekly after a month there is no hostility.
“They have a very good relationship with each other and they’re growing apart,” an insider explained in February 2022.

“It’s not something you’ll always feel like you’re right, but you’ll get better every day,” he said when asked about parenting advice and wished he’d gotten it before the baby was born. “When in doubt, just love your child and yourself.”
Hedlund talked about his fatherhood journey in an interview with More in July 2021.
“I have done many things, my father,” the actor told the newspaper. “The best thing is that we were just in Boston, my boy, [Emma Roberts]he worked so it was every day all day with my father as a young man. My favorite part of every day was bedtime stories [with] I told him the stories of his grandfather, which made me very happy and I hope it was him. It was a really good time, bonding with my father.”
