When Travis Hunter won the 2024 Heisman Trophy, he had the best fiancee support system Leanna Lenee.
“Winner’s chicken dinner,” Lenee wrote on Instagram in December 2024, sharing photos from Hunter’s event.
He added in a subsequent post, “They’re crazy, they’re driving them crazy!!!”
The Heisman is awarded annually to the best player in college football. In 2024, Hunter was sidelined Ashton Jeanty, Cam Ward again Dillion Gabriel. Hunter was honored as a wide receiver and cornerback for the Colorado Buffaloes.
He even gave a shout out to Lenee in his acceptance speech.
“I also want to thank my fiancee and my mother. “They have been with me since I started surgery my first year in college,” he said. “They didn’t take a step away from all the hard hours, all the hard days, and every time I didn’t want to get up and look at my phone. [or] watch football. You all stayed with me. Thank you all very much.”

“Travis I stayed in my DMs for two months because he DM’d me when he had a girlfriend,” he said in a TikTok video two years later. “I just knew that he had someone he was in love with [from his Instagram bio]. So, I left the message and he sat there until he was alone. I don’t do home crashes. I’m not a side episode. I don’t represent any of those things. I support women. I will not do that to another woman because I would never want it done to me.”
After the last contact, Hunter and Lenee went Instagram official in March, sharing PDA photos from their Hawaii vacation.

“Showtime,” she captioned a TikTok video of their outfits.
Hunter wore a blue suit, while Lenee opted for a strapless, mirrored dress.
The event drew criticism online when social media users speculated that Lenee appeared upset when Hunter won the trophy. The athlete later disputed these claims, commenting on the Twitch live stream Lenee cried herself to sleep on the reverse.
Lenee also denied being upset.
“People say I’m like, ‘What am I supposed to do, stay here?'” Lenee said. in a TikTok video. “That’s not what I said, first of all. I said baby, do you want me to stay here or do you want me to go with the family or do you want me to go with you. Because what you don’t know about the seven-second clip is that those weren’t fans, by the way. “
He continued, “He was done meeting the fans. I was there the whole time taking pictures, talking to them, everything. The girls were there, they worked for Adidas. So we were taking pictures for social media. Who were those people? I wasn’t upset about not having fans. At all. I’ve never been mad at the fans.”
Lenee reiterated that she supports Hunter “in everything he does.”
“I really like that man,” she said. “You are perfect in my eyes.”
