Celine Dion Honored For 30th Anniversary With Late Husband Rene Angelil
Celine Dion misses her late husband René Angélil for what would have been their 30th year of marriage.
“You still fill our hearts, every day. You are everything to us. We miss you so much,” Dion, 56, captioned on Instagram on Monday, December 17.
The Canadian singer shared a photo of herself and Angélil on their wedding day, captioned with a message from her and her three children – René-Charles, 23, and twins Eddy and Nelson, 14.
Dion married Angélil in 1994, and they were still together at the time of her death in January 2016. Angélil died at the age of 73 “at her home in Las Vegas after a long and courageous battle” with throat cancer, the statement revealed.
Although his quotes about Angélil are rare, Dion has spoken publicly about the loss of his life partner.
