Speaking at the CII energy conference here, the Minister of Commerce and Industry and IT & Electronics said the three Cs of Covid, conflict and climate change have challenged trade routes and policy frameworks, exposing weaknesses in supply chains, especially green energy. .

Talking about the achievements of the government led by Narendra Modi, he said that most of them have come to a “very disturbing” situation in the world.

“On the one hand, supply chain issues have created shortages of key components such as semiconductors, rare earth metals, and solar PV equipment, and on the other hand rising freight costs and port delays have created nightmares. adding uncertainty and major delays to clean energy projects ,” said Prasada.

This is where India has a great opportunity, the minister said, noting that “we have had a history of creating a negative impact on this global crisis through our responsible policy actions”.
