Mark Zuckerberg says Threads now has 100M daily active users

Meta’s rival Threads is growing slowly as more than 100 million people use the service every day, the company’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Monday.

Zuckerberg also noted that Threads now has 300 million active users, up from 275 monthly active users in November.

While Meta usually releases updated numbers about Threads’ active users every month, this is the first time the company has revealed daily active user figures.

In the past month, the company has aggressively released statistics and features as rival social network Bluesky, which has more than 25 million users, has gained momentum. Last month, Adam Mosseri noted that Threads has consistently seen a million registrations per day for three months.

The company also rolled out features such as the ability for users to create custom feeds, its take on ‘launch packs’ to create lists for new users to follow, and a way to change your default feed.
