Justin Timberlake’s Concert Dress Failure Goes Well
Justin Timberlake recently gave new meaning to his 2006 song, “What Goes Around…Comes Around.”
The Grammy-winning singer, who is currently on her Forget Tomorrow World Tour, was performing at the Bridgestone Arena on Thursday, December 12, in Nashville, Tennessee, when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction involving a tight-fitting harness that went viral.
A TikTok video shot by a concertgoer showed Timberlake, 43, trying to adjust himself in a harness, which caused a stir among fans as it highlighted his uneven groin.

In this clip, Timberlake could be seen pulling at the bottom of his shirt in an attempt to cover the area. The harness is used for his performance of “Mirrors,” when he entertains the crowd on stage.
The video’s comments section includes several arguments comparing Timberlake’s faux pas to a similar tragedy. Chris Brown he experienced it during his 1:11 trip to Canada this past summer. At that time, The Daily Mail reported on an accident that highlighted Brown’s “manhood” at the time The Hollywood Reporteshared a video of the singer getting caught in the air mid-concert.
Of course, it also brought to mind the infamous incident from 2004 when Timberlake contributed Janet Jacksonwardrobe malfunction after ripping part of her bra off at the end of the Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show.
Timberlake initially said, “Hey man, we’d like to give you something to talk about.” However, his tone changed as the situation began to escalate, prompting him and MTV to issue statements acknowledging the incident.
In his statement, Timberlake said: “I apologize if anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during halftime at the Super Bowl. It was unintentional and sad.”
Meanwhile, MTV said, “The ripping of Janet Jackson’s costume was ill-advised, unplanned, totally unintended and inconsistent with the assurances we have about the content of the show.” MTV regrets this incident and apologizes to anyone who has been hurt by it.”
The following week, Timberlake apologized at the Grammy Awards, saying Jackson’s nipple was accidentally exposed and was meant to be covered by a bright red brassiere.
