How Donnie Wahlberg’s True Crime Doc Connects to Brother Mark’s Movies

Donnie Wahlberg explained how season 6 of The Most Scary People he will meet his brother Mark WahlbergA Hollywood career.

Investigation Discovery’s The Most Scary Peoplehosted and executive produced by Donnie, is a docuseries that explores “the twisted crimes committed by some of America’s most ruthless people,” according to the show’s official description.

The new season will feature an episode about the Sun Gym gang’s activities in the 1990s, which tells the true story of Mark’s 2013 dark comedy. Pain & Gain are freely supported. Pain & Gain costarred Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson again Anthony Mackie.

“I think the movie was presented to the public as a comedy, like a goofball, but these guys were serious and they did bad things,” Donnie said. Us. “I was really surprised by that. Yes, I see all my brother’s films and Mark and I support each other. Contrary to popular belief, we support each other a lot. I just didn’t know how intense this story is.”

Donnie explained that The Most Scary People Season 6 will also include topics such as the famous Matusiewicz family, whose history he calls “terrifying in a completely different way than normal. The Most Scary People story.”

He also portrayed another crime kingpin in the 1990s, Clarence “Preacher” Heatley, who will be the focus of a season 6 episode.

“Growing up in Boston, it was so close to New York that we always heard stories about things happening in New York and he was a legend to us,” Donnie explained. Us. “And knowing that [singer] Bobby Brownwho is a friend and someone I have loved all my life, who has a small part in that story, which was really interesting to meet and talk to.”

Context: Brown, 55, was kidnapped in Harlem, New York, by Heatley and his gang in 1993.

“To have him be a part of the show, which is a bit of a scuba, but to be a part of one of our episodes is great,” Donnie concluded.

Season 6 of The Most Scary People will premiere Sunday, December 15, on Investigation Discovery.
