Sweeney, 27, didn’t take it lying down – and quickly closed it by posting it on her Instagram. In a Friday, December 13, social media video, Sweeney made a point of all the criticism.
“She’s so pale and needs to lose a few model bonds,” wrote one, as another said, “Whoever this person is, they have a bad body.”
Some social media users called Sweeney’s body “very good” and predicted that the actress could be an “Ozempic candidate.” (Ozempic and similar semaglutides are given to people struggling with weight-related conditions. Injections are not recommended for general weight loss.)

Sweeney reposted the video to his Instagram Story on Saturday, December 14, with the caption, “Christy Martin It is strong 💪 💪 🥊 .”
Sweeney has recently been cast as Martin, a former professional boxer, in an upcoming biopic.
“Well, the cats are out of the bag … so here’s a little BTS from my movie I’m working on right now,” Anyone But You the star wrote on Instagram in October. “Over the past few months, I’ve been deep in training to bring to life the story of an amazing woman—a true champion who fought battles inside and outside the ring.”

Sweeney’s sympathetic clapback was also echoed by several of his peers in Hollywood. He even sent a makeup artist again Melissa Hernandezhis comments about the video.
“TIME!” Hernandez wrote on his Instagram story. “So proud of @sydney_sweeney for embracing her transition into this role – your dedication and energy is truly inspiring. It’s sad how cruel and hurtful people can be, but don’t let their unfairness cloud your wisdom.”
Rachel Brosnahan, Isabela Merced again Lili Reinhart were among other celebrities who would have Sweeney’s back.
“It’s always stupid to see people publicly portraying themselves as pieces of s– and comments like that,” Reinhart, 28, responded on Friday. “You look amazing and your dedication to your project is very inspiring 💪🏻❤️.”
Merced, 23, added, “The thing is that these people will never say it personally. He was very shocked. But if they ever did? better believe it’s hands 😘.”
Sweeney’s mother, Lisaand noted in separate comments that he was “very proud” of Euphoria alum.
