Dr. Terry Dubrow Says Brandi Glanville Doesn’t Have a Face Parasite

“I saw one of his interviews and I saw a picture of him, where he’s swollen, where he’s full of abnormal skin,” Dubrow, 66, told the media. “Here’s the thing, here’s the thing Brandi really needs to focus on… and it’s not her fault, it’s her doctor’s fault. Brandi needs a diagnosis.”
Glanville, 52, previously said her condition could be caused by “facial parasites” but Dubrow doesn’t believe this is the case.
“He should see if there are any microorganisms there,” he said. “It won’t be vermin, it won’t be something he ate, something that entered his blood will come out.”
Dubrow added that she’s worried about what could happen to the real-life actress if she doesn’t get the diagnosis she needs ASAP.
“He’s like a ticking time bomb. Every minute that a microorganism is allowed to sit on his skin and do damage, he can suffer more as a result,” Dubrow added. “It can be very difficult to treat and may develop further scars and bumps. So Brandi needs a diagnosis. He probably needs surgery to get a piece of tissue and see what’s going on.”
Sharing a message directly to Glanville with TMZ, Dubrow offered to help if needed.
“Brandi, if you can’t diagnose that’s fine, and you need help, the It failed the doctors are here for you,” he said.
Glanville has been open about her health issues. She previously shared a photo of her facial deformity and revealed that she spent $70,000 looking for answers to what caused it.
“Actually, I’ve had a lot of doctors and I’ve had a lot of tests … I’ve done lab work for $10,000,” he said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight published on Tuesday, December 10. “I went through every test under the sun.… It’s like, ‘It could be a parasite.’ That, you know, is new.”
Glanville explained that before the doctor came up with the theory that she might be infected, she “became swollen” and “couldn’t speak.” When he sought treatment, some medical experts thought the issue might have been caused by old facial fillers disintegrating. However, Glanville said she hasn’t had fillers in a while and the first ones are already falling apart.
Glanville also initially thought there was food poisoning in Morocco while filming Real Housewives: The Ultimate Girls’ Journey maybe that’s what caused the problem.
According to Glanville, he has a good idea of where the virus resides under his face. Although he has not seen a living thing with his own two eyes, he has seen it and felt it move. If Glanville “messed it up” it would jump to a different spot and would look like “little blisters bursting” on his skin.
Along with the problems affecting his face, Glanville shared that the parasite also produces a lot of fluid that his lymph nodes can’t drain properly.
