Southeast Missouri State made program history with its performance at Fayetteville State last June.
With a 9-3 victory over Louisiana Tech in the playoff game, the Redhawks earned their first regional win since 2002 and their second regional win in history.
The next day, they did their best by upsetting host Arkansas 6-3 to eliminate the Razorbacks and advance to their first regional final.
Those two wins are huge in building confidence, which is no small feat in a program that comes out of the OVC competing against the best.
