Ukraine has successfully tested a long-range missile
Ukraine’s goals to produce long-range missiles and drones are “realizable today” after being in the realms of science fiction, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in Kiev on Tuesday while honoring Ukrainian scientists.
He highlighted the Palianytsia helicopter, which was reportedly used for the first time in August. “Palianytsia has started mass production,” Zelensky said.
He added that the Peklo missile-drone hybrid conducted its first mission successfully. The Ukrainian army officially took delivery last week of these devices at a distance of 700 kilometers.
Zelensky also referred to the successful test of the Ruta missile. No details yet.
He also talked about the long-range Neptune missile that was used in April 2022 to sink the Russian submarine Moskva in the Black Sea in April 2022, saying that it will soon become “an ugly reality for the citizens of Russia.” This missile has been improved.
