Melissa Joan Hart Recalls Son’s Fun Run With Travis Kelce

Melissa Joan HartHer son scored a goal when he arrived at a major modeling event in Nashville.

“His first gig was Charmin Bear at Tight End University,” Hart, 48, revealed exclusively Us Weekly while supporting World Vision on Friday, December 6. “He became Charmin Bear, and it was the funniest thing I think I’ve ever seen.”

While many visitors participated in various football activities, Hart’s son was eligible for a different reason.

“I’ve never made my children laugh more than my son who is the Charmin Bear mascot who is a hit with George Kittle and Travis Kelce,” the actor recalled. “He was just in heaven. It was very funny. That was her first modeling job, and she’s gone undercover. That’s what he loved most about it.”

While Hart found success in Hollywood with his acting roles in projects like Sabrina the Young Witch again Clarissa Explains It Allhe wants his children to follow their dreams as they grow up. (Hart shares Mason, 18, Braydon, 16, and Tucker, 12, with husband Mark Wilkerson.)

“I can’t wait to take them to auditions,” he joked. “Although rejection creates a tough and thick skin, I don’t want them to go through that rejection. As much as I would like them to be in the arts, they are very involved [other] places.”

Mason wants to check out the airfield and maybe become a pilot. Until then, she works as a veterinarian “because she loves animals.”

Braydon is looking into sports management and wants to take classes that would prepare him for a similar career. As for Tucker, he keeps his mother guessing.

“Little one, who knows?” Hart joked. “I always say he’s going to be a lawyer or a criminal. I’m not sure. … He can negotiate his way out of anything. That kid is allowed to eat mac and cheese every night and I’m not sure how that happened.”

Before Hart focuses on celebrating the holidays with his boys, the actor works with World Vision and showcases his artisan, handmade gifts that help drive donations for children and families.

“I started working with them in 2019,” he explained Us. “I have three boys, we sponsored three girls in Zambia. We had the opportunity in 2019 to go see them, meet them, and then we went back last year in 2023.”

Hart said he was impressed by the growth “and hope in their hearts.” As a result, he will not stop helping the Christian humanitarian organization.

“I know I’m blessed to be able to go see the work they do and see the programs and see how complex and sustainable they are,” said Hart. “Here is a charity organization that if you give your money, I told you it will be for a good purpose. I can tell you that it will help these children, these families.”
