Taylor Swift’s Department of Victimized Poets Returns to No. 1 as Eras Tour Ends
Taylor Swift‘s Ministry of Victimized Poets go up Billboard 200 album chart again.
The pop star’s 11th studio album, which debuted on April 19, had its best sales since its second week of release after Target released the physical edition only. TTPD: An Anthology A deluxe album for Thanksgiving weekend. The extended edition earned 405,000 equivalent album units for the week ending December 5, Billboard report on Sunday, December 8.
Those numbers give TTPD its best sales week since its second week when it earned 439,000 equivalent album units. Of course, the album was released on top Billboard 200 back in April, with a total of 2.61 million units (1.914 million traditional copies and 891.34 million on-demand streams) combined across all platforms in its first week of release.

The chart-topping album was fueled by Swift’s record-breaking success The Eras Tourwhich came to an end Sunday at BC Place in Vancouver after nearly two years. The tour began in March 2023 and has covered five continents and 149 shows.

Swift’s collaboration with Target over Thanksgiving also benefited her biggest book sales. For a star Eras Tour Bookwhich was also released on November 29, sold nearly a million copies in its first week of sales. That makes it the biggest book launch of 2024 so far.
