Michelle Yeoh’s spy team meets in Star Trek: Episode 31 official trailer

There’s a lot Star Trek: Discovery in the official trailer for Star Trek: Episode 31 the film just released by Paramount Plus – high drama, explosions, and other impending threats “unlike anything Starfleet has ever seen.”

The trailer shows another movie, with moody corridors, some kind of electrified space ball, and a brief look at the spaceships that will be shown in the show. It also gives more time to characters other than Michelle Yeoh’s Governor Philippa Georgiou – namely Omari Hardwick’s Alok Sahar and Kacey Rohl’s Enterprise C captain, Rachel Garrett. It remains a mystery as to what issue Governor Philippa is leading his party into.

Philippa will work with a team that includes a pointed-eared alien named Fuzz (Sven Ruygrok), an empath named Melle (Humberly Gonzalez), an exoskeleton-wearing Zeph (Rob Kazinsky), and a Chameloid shapeshifter named Quasi (Sam Richardson). Star Trek: Episode 31 begins streaming live January 24 on Paramount Plus.
