Why Southern Hospitality Can Fill the Empty Vanderpump Rules
Just Vanderpump Rules renewal does not mean that reality TV viewers should stop raising their glasses.
While viewers spent 11 seasons watching Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz and more cast members transitioning from restaurant workers at SUR to TV royalty, Bravo has just confirmed that season 12 will feature a brand new cast Lisa Vanderpump‘s West Hollywood establishment.
As the cast — and fans — continue to mourn the end of an era in reality television, Southern Hospitality it can have all the necessary ingredients to satisfy Vanderpump Rules in vain.
“I definitely think it would be a great space,” Southern Hospitality star This is Bonaparte you are only told Us Weekly on Thursday, December 5 before the start of the show’s third season. “I always say that I think it’s a child’s kind of love Below Deck again Vanderpump because a club is much different than a restaurant. It’s not like we’re a living room. We are a full-fledged nightclub.”
Southern Hospitality follows a group of employees working at Leva’s Republic in Charleston, South Carolina.
The cameras roll as a group of young adults navigate a strong friendship, a stressful night at work and a lot of relationship drama.
While Vanderpump’s cast became regulars on the red carpet as they grew up in Los Angeles and became parents and spouses, Leva’s team of workers often stayed in small-town Charleston and lived their best lives as they navigated their 20s.
“I think with these kids, they just don’t give—,” Leva shared of her staff who pledged to share their lives with the program. “They’re like, ‘The president is a reality TV star. There’s no limit to what I can do. If I want to move my breasts and my ass on TV or say something crazy, I can do anything. There’s no glass ceiling for me.’ They are very true.”
They are also good at their jobs. While the later seasons of Vanderpump Rules used to leak story lines to the press, there is still plenty of mystery surrounding season 3 Southern Hospitality.
“The dynamic has definitely changed a lot compared to season one and two,” a cast member said Bradley Carter you are told in private Us of Us Weekly + Pluto TV Reality of the Year Party at Hollywood’s Dream Hotel in October. “The third season is very different. Relationships change, friendships change, people change.”
While Bradley said he “got the right mix of staying out, but having a voice,” his close friend and costar couldn’t say the same.
“Bradley does a better job than I do,” the Republican bartender said TJ Dinch they joked at the party without going public again a lot. “We had a good summer, but it was a tough summer. It’s sad how some things happened.”
Because the actors can’t keep a good story line hidden, the viewers are later treated to an unexpected mess when the show actually plays – and these actors know how to mess up!
Despite the strained friendship in the first two seasons of Southern Hospitality, Maddie Reese again Joe Bradley recently decided to have a shotgun wedding in Las Vegas. The schedule was kept under wraps until the third season trailer premiered in November.
The changing relationship may remind some fans Tom Sandoval again Kristen DouteAn unexpected love story or Jax Taylor again Stassi Schroeder‘s wild romance before Vanderpump Rules the seasons. Also, the Charleston group hasn’t quite gone into influence mode on social media, which means they’re really working in the Republic — and they need a show (and tips) just like the SURvers did back in 2013.
As a production of season 12 of Vanderpump Rules starts in 2025, Leva has made it clear that he is still a big fan of this game and its stars.
“I think it’s good to close before the magic wears off,” she said. “They all do good to each other, they prosper and everything.”
At the same time, if viewers are hoping to follow a group of best friends who always work and hang out together, look no further than Southern Hospitality.
“I think because they work together all year long when the cameras are off, they’re true friends, they have such a history and because they have to work in this high pressure environment, it creates a friendship that no one else has. you understand the rest,” explained Leva. “That’s why the program works.”
