Jesse Solomon Teases Summer House Season 9 Dating Life: I Was ‘On’

Jesse Solomon was ready to be popular – and out on dates – during season 9 of Summer House.

“The first summer I went into it without knowing anything. “I just wanted to make friends with everyone and have a good time,” Jesse, 29, said to himself. Us Weekly on Tuesday, December 5, while promoting the new Labcorp OnDemand test menus. I realized that not everyone wants to be best friends and have a good time all the time.

After learning his lesson in season 8, Jesse said he changed his mind about season 9, which was filmed this past summer.

“This summer I went into it with more energy [approach],” he explained, revealing, “I was open to dating, thinking a lot this summer. Although the first summer I was just trying to be friends with everyone.” He added with a laugh, “So that should be fun to watch back, huh?”

During his first season, Jesse was meeting up with girls in the Hamptons after going out with different women during the week back in New York City. He also flew by the seat of his pants and was very playful.

“I can say the worst thing I’ve done [in season 8]they didn’t even show,” Jesse admitted. “I went to a party with everyone the first night and I just went to the party by myself and everyone hated me for the first three weeks, but they just gave me a chance.”

Which he said Us he’s been too focused on actual dates this season – and to everyone’s dismay – he hasn’t been kissing and telling. “I’m dating,” Jesse confirmed. “You will definitely have to check it out Summer House to find out the status of my relationship.”

Joking that she really “let it fly” this past summer, Jesse noted that she’s “not perfect and sometimes I have a little bit of fun,” but it makes for great TV.

Ultimately, he is only concerned with what the women in his life think of his antics on the reality series.

“I’m not worried about what anyone thinks of me except my mother and grandmother who I love,” he admitted. “So as long as they still love me, I don’t give a damn [ass] what the other person thinks.”

However, if his grandmother watches him on TV, it can have its disadvantages. “I said [grandma] taking maybe a little break from something else [my] Season 2,” he said with a laugh. “He said he turned down the volume, but it wasn’t an incident I had because he usually watches Hallmark. Summer House it’s fierce for him, so he’ll be fine. You will love me no matter what.”

In addition to taking her love life more seriously this season, Jesse said the house has taken a positive turn as a result Lindsay Hubbard‘s pregnancy. (Lindsay, 38, announced in July that she is expecting her first child with an unnamed boyfriend.)

“It was fun. She was very motherly. She was still sober, obviously, with a very low head,” he recalls of Lindsay’s behavior in the Hamptons. “You always cook and clean in the morning. He brought me coffee, iced, almost every day.”

The reality star added that Lindsay was “amazing” and “beautiful” to him all summer.

“It’s an easy way to find a foundation for your life,” Jesse said. “It’s a lot easier than going to the doctor and saying, ‘Oh, I want to check my heart. Let me go to a cardiologist and get a referral, and I’ll end up getting billed anyway.’”
