Skywalker Saga is free on the Epic Games Store

It’s Thursday, which means Epic Games has new PC games on the storefront for people to claim for free. One of this week’s picks is a humdinger. Until 11AM on December 12, you can take pictures Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga for zero dollars.

This is easily the best Lego game I’ve played, and probably the best Star Wars title. You don’t have to start with it The Phantom Menace if that name still gives you grief 25 years later, or you will play the stories of all nine essential Star Wars films. The game has that Lego trademark of clever (and often hilarious) humor that pokes fun at famous moments from the movies. As you can imagine, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga it’s full of easter eggs. It looks good too. There are many reasons why this was one of my favorite games of 2022.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga it is not perfect, however. Reports that developers at TT Games were pushed to work long hours to complete the game cast a dark shadow over it. In addition, collection features may start to sound like a slogan if you plan to reach 100 percent completion. Still, there’s likely to be hours of family fun here, and you’ll be able to jump for free.

There’s another free title on the Epic Games Store this week in the form of Bus Simulator 21 Next stop. I hope that’s also a fun game for people testing it, but I’ll never know!
