Lawrence, 48, took to Instagram on Wednesday, December 4, and shared two images of love about him and his estranged wife – about five months after Cope, 37, filed for divorce actor.
In one snap, Lawrence and Cope are all smiles at a party for their new holiday movie, Marry Christmaswhere they play an engaged couple who will get married on Christmas Day. Another scene shows them kissing.
“I am very grateful 🤍I am blessed🤍I am beyond grateful 🤍 My heart is very full ❤️,” Lawrence wrote his script.

At the beginning of this year, Us Weekly confirmed that Cope filed for divorce from Lawrence on Wednesday, August 21, two months after their listed date of separation. According to court documents obtained by Us at the time, the Copes requested custody of their 22-month-old daughter, Dylan, as well he said he would allow Lawrence to stay with Dylan two nights a week after he turned 3 years old. Cope also limited the court’s ability to award spousal benefits.
But on October 8, she amended her divorce petition to ask the court to grant her joint legal custody, even though she still wanted sole custody of Dylan.
Lawrence moved on with Cope after separating from his ex-wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson in July 2020. The two met on the set of Lifetime’s My Husband’s Secret Brother.
“So we met there and out of nowhere, you know, it was a year and a half for everybody, obviously the whole world,” Lawrence said exclusively. Us in 2021, referring to the coronavirus pandemic. “When you least expect it [it]amazing things happen and meeting him has been the greatest thing ever.”

In August 2021, Us only the news came out that Lawrence and Cope were engaged, and Joey then took to social media to talk about their relationship.
“We are very excited to see what the future holds for us and knowing that we will grow old and shriveled is a great blessing,” he wrote at the time.
Lawrence and Cope married in May 2022. Months later, Lawrence revealed that they were expecting their first child. (Lawrence also shares daughters Charleston, 18, and Liberty, 14, with Yawn-Nelson, with whom he has been married for more than a decade.)
“Blessings keep coming. I’m proud of you guys! 🖤,” Lawrence captioned a photo on Instagram of herself holding Cope’s baby bump in September 2022.
