As Mashable’s shop reporter for the beauty tech beat, I know firsthand that beauty tech tools like hot air styles or skincare wands can range from gimmicky to fun to real lifesavers. (Okay, maybe that last one is a bit of an exaggeration.) I also know that more often than not, these tools don’t come cheap. Black Friday beauty deals take the sting out of high prices, but deals can be deceiving.

Together, that doesn’t make shopping on Black Friday any easier. Sure, maybe that microcurrent device deal looks good, but if it doesn’t do much and breaks down in six months, it’s not worth any amount of money. And with a crowded market, it’s easy to waste your money — which is why I’ve put together this list of my favorite beauty products on sale.
