Get up to 29 percent off Star Wars, Super Mario sets
We’re big Lego fans here at Engadget, so it’s not hard for us to understand why building block sets are one of the first things to go on sale during the holiday shopping season. Kids and adults alike want Lego sets all year round, and they make great gifts. Whether you know your recipient likes Star Wars or Super Mario, or they don’t have a favorite franchise and just love building materials, there are Lego sets that will appeal to all types of people. And no, they don’t all cost hundreds of dollars — some, like seasonal advent calendars, come in at $50 or less. If you have a Lego lover on your holiday shopping list (or if that person is you), these are the best Black Friday Lego deals of 2024. Most of these deals are on Amazon, but you can find the same (or similar) price at Lego and other retailers like Target.
The highlights of Black Friday include a couple of Lego advent calendars: one for Disney fans and one more common for all children. Lego makes a bunch of advent calendars in addition to those, and we expect to see more of them on sale in the coming days.
There is also a Beautiful Insect Collection, which when completed, will include three life-size models, a butterfly, a Hercules beetle and a Chinese praying mantis. Even a bun hater appreciates the beauty of this set and how amazing it can look sitting on a shelf.
Star Wars, Super Mario and Harry Potter sets are also discounted. For example, this set of King Boo’s Haunted Mansion is on sale for the first time since its launch, and in addition to the brick house that opens up for better play, it includes King Boo, Yellow Baby Yoshi, Dry Bones and Boo figurines. We’ll be updating this post throughout Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so check back for the latest deals.
