He said yes⦠again!
Bachelor‘s Zach Shallcross he asked a question Kaity Biggar for the second time in their second year.
Sharing photos of the romantic yacht trip on his Instagram, Biggar, 30, announced the exciting news on Friday, November 22.
“How lucky I am to be able to say ‘yes’ to you twice! ππ€” she captioned the post, which featured photos of Biggar flashing his engagement ring, the couple toasting each other with champagne and the pair holding hands on a boat.
Fans flocked to the comments to send well wishes to the couple they love.
“Omg sooo cute!! Love the “re-propose” idea, which is a secret for both of you!π©·,” one fan wrote, while another added, “Well done Zach!! Yes second relationship!!!! “…
However, some questioned the need or reason for the second proposal, one wrote, “Now to be engaged twice why is this necessary?”
Shallcross, 28, chose Bigger Bachelor’s season 27, which was filmed in 2022 and aired in 2023, began on one knee in the March 2023 finale.
βI can’t say I love you anymore, because, Kaity Lane, I love you so much. You are my world,β Shallcross tells Kaity in the love scene. “The love I have for you is something I never thought of and thought I would never be able to deserve in my whole life. I love you so much. I love you with all my heart. You are the face I want to wake up to every morning. I want to live with you and only you. Kaity, I want to be with you forever. β¦ You are the only one I want in my life. β¦ Kaity, will you marry me?β
The feeling was similar to Biggar, who showered Shallcross in return as he accepted his proposal.
“I didn’t think it could be me, that I could find a great love, the love you only read about in books, you only see in movies,” said Biggar. βI built my walls so high that I couldn’t see past them, then you came into my life and, Zach, every time I spent with you, my walls came down. β¦ I love you so much. I love you to the moon and back. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.β
The couple moved in together in January 2024 and while they originally planned to tie the knot in 2025, Biggar recently shared that they are taking their time with their wedding plans.
βFirst, the wedding update. So we had a wedding venue, everything, and we didn’t actually sign it. So we’re floating the boat on this wedding and having a wedding that costs $70K out of our pockets is completely insane and it’s not going to happen,” Biggar shared on TikTok in early November.
“For now, Zach and I will reassess things, go back,” he added. “Obviously we want to marry each other. We’re just looking for the best place for the right price tags, as we all do. We also have our whole lives together,ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ or and/or andβββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ We just take it day by day and love being together and building our relationship more and more. “
