Musk and Ramaswamy’s DOGE opens up hiring at X

In response to an X user who saw an “unbridled passion to be part of something historically important” that would require “a large amount of high-quality tedious work,” Musk noted that DOGE employees will not be paid. for their efforts reduce spending and directing the government.

Trump announced Tuesday that Musk and Ramaswamy will lead DOGE and work to “dismantle the Government Bureaucracy, make excessive lawscut wasteful spending, and reorganize Federal Agencies.”

“Perhaps it will be the ‘Manhattan Project’ of our time,” the announcement said. “Republican politicians have dreamed about the goals of ‘DOGE’ for a very long time. To carry out this kind of radical change, the Department of Public Works will provide advice and guidance from outside the government, and will work with the White House and the Office of Management and Budget to promote major structural changes, and create an unprecedented approach to business in Government,” said Trump’s statement.
