The acting director of the Secret Service pressed Trump’s appearance at the Alabama-Georgia game

Despite two assassination attempts in the past two months, former President Trump does not shy away from large crowds. In fact, he may soon meet his biggest crowd since his inauguration in 2021.
Trump, the Republican nominee for the third consecutive presidential election, said he will appear on September 28 in Tuscaloosa where he will face Alabama in the conference of last year’s SEC tournament.
Bryant-Denny Stadium, home of the Crimson Tide, has a capacity of more than 100,000, which likely creates a greater security.

Asked if “those types of events are particularly concerning, if (there) could be tens if not hundreds of thousands of people,” acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe was not interested in discussing Trump’s possible appearance at the game.
“I’m not going to comment on defense plans,” Rowe told reporters on Friday.
However, it seems he has faith in his team to keep Trump safe.

“What I will tell you is that each event is complex, and each development is different,” Rowe said. “And those teams are advanced, they know what to do to create a safe environment for our defenders.”
Trump has been in the direct line of fire recently and was cut down by a bullet at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13. Earlier this month, he was not even safe from the comfort of his golf course in West Palm Beach. . The man with the gun was hiding in the square before he was caught.
