The song was accompanied by a music video featuring a Lego character holding a guitar and a piece of paper with the word “NDA”, addressing LaPaglia’s claims that Bryan, 28, allegedly offered money to LaPaglia to sign the NDA, which he received. he said he refused.
The new diss track begins, “Country Diddy, Country Diddy / Steal another story write another Country Ditty / All these NDAs you sound like country Diddy,” which he seems to be referring to Sean “Diddy” CombsHe is currently in custody after being charged with sex trafficking and trafficking in September.
The release of the track follows an additional jab from X’s “BFFs” account, which released “The Youngest Man (Dave Version)” earlier on Sunday.
“Country Diddy” continues, “Something like your face / This ain’t lookin’ good / Know that I’m bringin’ the fame straight to Oklahoma City,” with other lyrics reading, “A cup of butter thought it could shut me up / Somebody tell you cheap lawyers I don’t show—.”
The lyrics also detail how Richards, 22, chose to “stick it out” this time, “because we only need me.” Richards is reportedly signed to Warner Music Group, which may explain why the original single “Little Man” was removed from YouTube due to copyright.
Another line in “Country Diddy” reads, “He gave Bri $13 mil, just to cover his trap / Then he turned around and said “push you a–”.
Bryan announced his split from LaPaglia in a social media post late last month. LaPaglia said he was “blindsided” by the announcement, saying that he and Bryan had agreed to keep the news of the split under wraps.
During the Nov. 7 episode of “BFF,” LaPaglia said she was “emotionally abused” by Bryan. “The last year of my life has been the most difficult year of my life, I am dealing with the abuse of this man,” he said in the podcast. “I’m still scared, my mind has been rewired. I’m afraid to mix him up. Last week I didn’t want to talk about it because I was scared.”
Regarding Bryan allegedly giving LaPaglia money for the signed NDA, LaPaglia said, “I still f— your money. You made women before me believe that they had no other choice. And to take away your money, sign their experience, sign what they’ve been through, you’re going to get over it and sing your f-ing little songs on stage like you’re a good person.”
During the Nov. 6 episode of “BFFs,” LaPaglia said that she, Portnoy and Richards were blocked by Bryan on social media.
Bryan revealed his split from LaPaglia via an Instagram story on October 22 after the two dated for over a year.
