Is Keyshawn Davis Stalking Gervonta Davis?

The loudmouth Keyshawn Davis posted a long, loud video today targeting Gervonta Davis, saying he wants to fight him. Keyshawn (11-0, 7 KOs) begged Baltimore native Tank Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) to “send me a contract,” but then sighed, saying, “I don’t need it.”

It sounded like us opposite double talkand what aggravated it Keyshawn almost burst into tears. You can tell by the way he was happy in the air when he called Tank that he really wanted that fight, but that saying so sounds like. You are obsessed. It’s only occasionally called out, but if you hear it throughout the interview, it sets off alarm bells.

Since last Friday, Keyshawn has often claimed his victory over his hand-picked opponent, Gustavo Lemossaying that his victory over the Argentine would be the same we will be remembered in the next ten years. I can’t decide if he was serious or just messing around, talking nonsense to get attention. Keyshawn goes the wrong way with his trick of beating up tomato cans, trying to make them sound like gold, and then hunts down Tank soon after.

Beating Lemos isn’t even the beginning of a very rewarding, life-changing battle against the King Tank. That actually goes back. In order to start building a chance to meet his superior, the Tank, Keyshawn needs to run an Andersonville-esque gauntlet below without falling apart along the way.

It would make sense for Keyshawn to ask to fight Tank if he loses The Big Four:

  1. Andy Cruz
  2. Raymond Muratalla
  3. Edwin De Los Santos
  4. Abdullah Mason

Lemos was like that getting out of losses to Richardson Hitchins, and his only notable win on his resume came against the 35-year-old Lee Selby. His resume is completely devoid of non-shot wins, and he looked awful in his loss to Hitchins on April 6. Watching the Hitchins-Lemos fight, it becomes immediately clear why Keyshawn chose Lemos.

Keyshawn Needs A Tank To Submit The Contract

“Tell light skin [Gervonta Davis] to come out of his senses and send me the contract. That’s right,” said Keyshawn Davis on social media, saying he wants Gervonta Davis to send him a contract to fight after defeating handpicked Gustavo Lemos last Friday night in Norfolk.

Keyshawn will be waiting for a contract to be sent from Tank Davis for a long time. If he wants to gain fans in this game, he must stop using Tank’s name to come out and encourage Top Rank to match him with good players instead of what they have been doing. Lemos, Miguel Madueno, Jose Pedraza, and Nahir Albright are elite fighters.

“I don’t need him, but I want to fight this man. This has nothing to do with being tough,” said Keyshawn. “This has nothing to do with my identity. I want to fight him and mean it that way, because he has been cheating the boxing game for a long time.”

The 25-year-old Keyshawn could do himself a huge favor if he fights his old foe Andy Cruz of Cuba from his professional days and shows the boxing world that he can defeat his four-year champion. Cruz has Keyshawn’s number, and it would look good if he chooses to fight him. Even if Keyshawn re-learns, fans will respect his bravery.

Entrepreneur Wants to Doubt

“You do it [stuff] it looks good. He did [stuff] it looks better than it is. When did you start?” Keyshawn said of Tank Davis. “What kind of resume did you get? He doesn’t have a resume, man. You got fighters that we knew you were going to beat. I’m not trying to hear anything about that.”

No one disputes that Tank Davis has a great career, but he’s still popular because he makes fun performances. He doesn’t pick soft opposition from losses like Keyshawn and Lemos and Jose Pedraza did.

“I need the whole world to be against me in that fight so I can show you how good I am,” said Keyshawn. “I don’t need anyone in that fight. I’m going to be a star next year, whether I fight him or not. The reason it doesn’t happen is that he doesn’t want it to happen.”

There is no chance that Keyshawn will ever be a champion with the way his career is going. In some ways he is considered the same as Edgar Berlanga when he was on Top Rank, only fighting with tomato cans to make him look better than him.

You don’t create superstars who are compared to the likes of Keyshawn. If Keyshawn is lucky, he could be a fake star in the Milli Vanilli mold and look to earn a Berlanga-esque income.

“I will do it for him. No Diddy. “What happened at Scope Arena in Virginia will be remembered for at least the next decade,” said Davis.
