Giannis Antetokounmpo Responds to Jaylen Brown’s ‘Child’ Comments
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s move to Jaylen Brown’s court was not met with much play on Brown’s end and Giannis responded to JB calling him a ‘child’.
The Greek Freak enjoyed the Bucks’ loss to the Celtics on Sunday. After he elbowed Brown in the head and fired, he stuck out his hand as if to shake Brown’s hand and did a classic fake.

After the game, Brown was asked about the collaboration and was not amused. “Giannis is a kid,” he said.
Antetokounmpo was surprised by Brown’s reaction after the game and explained that he was just happy and being his normal self.
“Oh, is that what he said?,” Giannis said. “He said I was a child. I thought I was complimenting him. But at the same time, that’s why I play the game with fun and joy. I surround myself with young people so that I can stay young. I try to be around my kids a lot, my nieces and nephews, and sometimes when I’m on the court, I play with things like that. But, like I said, I think he’s a fantastic player, but I’ll continue to be myself.”
The Bucks forward had high praise for Brown, despite his comments.
“I think he’s an amazing player,” Antetokounmpo said. “I will continue to be myself. And at the end of the day, if I’m called a child, so be it.
“I just try to go out and have fun. But also, [he is a] a great player, our competitor. If I get another chance, I will do it again.”
The Bucks’ problems have become a joke in the league since they started the season 2-8 and ended up in Mpumalanga.
The 113-107 loss was the second time the Bucks have blown a 15-point lead this season.
“We can’t continue,” Bucks coach Doc Rivers said. “The Cleveland game [also]we came out like criminals, and as the game went on, we didn’t back up our game.”
