New Kids on the Block Announce Their First Las Vegas Residency

The New Kids on the Block are headed to Vegas.

On Thursday, September 19, the team – Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood again Joey McIntyre – announced their first ever Sin City residency. They will take the stage at Park MGM’s Dolby Live theater in 2025 from June 20 to July 5, and from November 1 to November 15. The show is called “The Right Stuff” in honor of their 1988 hit single.

“We appreciate every opportunity we get to perform for our fans, but the Las Vegas residency gives us the opportunity to take our performances, and connect with our fans, to the next level,” Wahlberg, 55, said in a statement.

He added that they intend to “create the most incredible NKOTB concert ever” and “create more events to engage directly with our fans. Las Vegas will never be the same after the New Kids and Blockheads take over the city.”

Tickets are sold legally Friday, September 27th, but diehard fans will have a chance to get seats in a pre-sale that starts on September 24th.

The group was formed in the 1980s and had a big hit in the latter part of the decade with their second album. Hangin’ Tough. They broke up in 1994 and reunited in 2008, relying entirely on their new found fandom for the old players from Dorchester, Massachusetts.

McIntyre also spoke about it Still Children and the first, “Children.”

“Donnie and I wrote the whole album,” he said. “But this one song, [“Kids”]comes from the writer and producer, Dave Stewartand it’s a beautiful song.”
