Pharrell Williams it’s just the same Us when it comes to chicken nuggets.
The “Happy” singer revealed that he was kicked out of McDonald’s three times before he found fame as a hit music producer, including one after he was caught eating McNuggets.
“McDonald’s was my first and only job. I was fired three times. I was eating chicken nuggets,” Williams, 51, said in a recent interview with the UK’s BBC Radio 2. Billboard.
He continued, “The first two times it was just because I was lazy. The third was, ‘What are you doing? Are you just eating fat all the time?’”

Williams isn’t the only star with a past in fast food.
In June 2019, the rapper Nicki Minaj opened up about being fired from several Red Lobster locations.
“I’ve worked at different Red Lobsters and I’ve been fired from three or four of them,” Minaj said. Jimmy Fallon on his late night talk show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“I went to this lady. She and her boyfriend came out of the restaurant and took my pen and didn’t tip me,” Minaj explained why she was let go from another Red Lobster gig. “I went to the car, hit the car window and said: ‘Give me my pen!'” Minaj said she gave the couple the middle finger and was fired “on the spot” by her manager.

The girls said star Rachel McAdams he also admitted that he was not a “great” employee of McDonald’s. “I was 16 years old and I was the director of a children’s theater, which did not pay the bills at all,” the actor explained about his temporary fast food job.
