John Oliver responds to his 2015 clip saying he ‘doesn’t give a**t’ about Trump.

We know what John Oliver thinks of Donald Trump these days, but what did he think of him before the 2016 election?

During the appearance it is open The Late Show On Monday, Stephen Colbert played a clip of Oliver Last week Tonight hosted the show back in 2015, saying he “doesn’t give a**t” about Trump.

“That’s a really bad thing to slowly pull back on my face there,” Oliver said, staring into the camera after playing the clip. “You know exactly what you’re doing in the control room – that wasn’t good!”

After making a joke about Trump aging better than he did nine years ago despite being president, Oliver continues to explain his feelings now.

“The thing is, that guy – I know it doesn’t look like he’s still there, but emotionally he’s still there. I still haven’t talked about him, I just know that I should, if that’s the case. It makes sense,” said Oliver. “I think it would be a gift to the nation if we could give ourselves the joy of not caring anymore.
