How do we identify the best workplaces?
Identifying the best workplaces, WorkL employee engagement survey – developed by behavioral scientists, data analysts, and psychologists – focuses on the six key areas mentioned above that are important to work engagement.
These six areas form a comprehensive framework for measuring how employees feel about their workplace. A busy workplace will perform well on all of these dimensions, and your company has already proven to excel here.
How Rewards Research Works
- The survey includes 31 questions that measure employee engagement on a scale of 0-10.
- Each collaboration score for each company is calculated by summing the responses and presenting them as a percentage.
- To be eligible for awards, organizations must achieve a minimum score of 70%.
To achieve a high overall score, a company must consistently perform well in its six-step framework, which includes Reward and Recognition, Instilling Pride, Sharing Knowledge, Empowerment, Well-Being and Job Satisfaction.
It is not possible to trade one measure against another – in a very busy workplace, all six measures will be well recognized by employees, albeit to varying degrees. The organization’s overall engagement score is the sum of all responses to the questions, divided by the highest possible score as a percentage.
WorkL band limit is supported in both independent and WorkL-commissioned research on employee engagement programs, and is reinforced by WorkL’s comparative data of over 100,000 organizations.
To get an accurate representation of employee sentiment, organizations need to send a survey to as many current employees as possible.
The survey takes five minutes to complete and the platform is fully mobile-friendly.
Organizations are required to complete an additional information survey that is evaluated against their test score to help support their entry.
Those who participate must also reach average response rates to qualify for their entire organization: Very Large — 25%, Large — 35%; Medium – 45%; Small – 50%.
