The Squid Game brings it back in the season 2 trailer

Netflix released a new trailer for Squid game season two on Thursday. Gi-hun, also played by Lee Jung-jae, has once again taken part in the games, but based on the trailer, it seems that he will try to convince the other contestants to rebel against the competition – and that, at times, it will not be successful.

“Three years after winning the Squid Game, Player 456 stopped going to the states and came back with a new resolution on his mind,” according to the show’s description from the trailer. “Gi-hun once again entered the mysterious survival game, starting another game of life or death with new participants who joined together to win the prize of 45.6 billion.”

Since confirming in 2022 that the show will get a second season, Netflix has been getting trickle-down updates about what to expect, including some of its new cast, some photos, and some teasers. But this new trailer offers perhaps our best look yet at what’s to come when the season premieres on December 26.

The third and final season is expected to air next year.
