A helicopter crashes into a parked plane at a Texas airport during takeoff
A helicopter spun out of control while taking off from an airport in Houston on Sunday, crashing into a parked plane, according to video of the incident.
The Robinson R44 helicopter was taking off from Pearland Regional Airport around 8:35 a.m. when it began to turn, FOX26 Houston reported, citing officials.
Only the pilot was on board when the helicopter circled through the air toward the small plane that was parked, according to the video.
The helicopter then rammed the plane and hit it several times with its propeller before the engine died, the video said.
