Swift, 34, proved she’s a professional as part of her stage collapsed during her third performance The Eras Tour at a concert in New Orleans on Sunday, October 27. According to photos shared on social media, the incident happened during a set dedicated to Swift’s latest album, Ministry of Victimized Poets.
Swift often poses on a platform — which fans playfully call a “roomba” — that descends the catwalk while singing “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” During play on Sunday, however, the set piece did not advance.
Without missing a beat, Swift stepped off the stage and down the catwalk, strutting around the stage. His dancers continued behind him as if nothing was wrong.
“That’s amazing mom behavior,” one fan wrote on social media, praising Swift for keeping calm and carrying on. “Such a professional, I love him,” commented another user.
A third fan marveled at how powerful the performance still was despite the malfunction, writing, “I actually like it without the roomba???”

Swift is compiled first TTPD of The Eras Tour in May, one month after the album’s release. Travis Kelcewho has been dating the pop star since the summer of 2023, was there when the new and improved list first appeared in France.
“I had so much fun at Tay’s show,” Kelce, 35, said on the May episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “His new plan for The Eras TourI suggest everyone go see it. It has its youth They were harassed by the Department of Poets [album]a couple of those songs in the new show, which means there’s a new part and new lights and new dancing, all new in the f—ing show. I suggest everyone get out there and see [her]. It’s unbelievable.”
Kelce noted that he “enjoyed everything” about the “amazing” concert, adding, “It was a great night.”
He echoed her praise later that month when he spoke to her Us Weekly at his Kelce Jam event only in Kansas City. “Taylor’s plans are unbelievable,” he said at the time. “If you’ve never been to them, you should try.”
Kelce took his own advice, supporting Swift on many others The Eras Tour shows in Europe and the UK throughout the NFL season. When he returned to the stage in Miami after a two-month hiatus, however, Travis did not join his brother, Jason Kelceand other family members in the crowd. (Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs played an away game against the Los Angeles Chargers that weekend.)
“I had all the FOMO in the world and all the family and a lot of our friends were there,” Travis told Jason, 36, during the Wednesday, Oct. 23 episode of “New Heights.”
Following her shows in Miami and New Orleans, Swift will deliver The Eras Tour in three other cities before it concludes in December: Indianapolis, Toronto and Vancouver.
