Bowling, an Army veteran, has been keeping her Facebook followers updated on the family’s activities, sharing a video of pumpkin-shaped sourdough bread on Oct. 2. “#SourdoughSistersBread,” she captioned the clip.

The social media update comes after Abby and Brittany, who have been in the limelight since 1996, criticized their lives by posting a video on social media earlier this year. “This is a message to all the haters out there,” a deep voice said over a March 29 TikTok video of Abby and Brittany bowling. “If you don’t like what I do but watch everything I do, you’re still a fan.”

The siblings wrote, “#Forever.”

Abby and Bowling’s engagement was confirmed in March, sparking social media chatter and speculation about Abby’s marital status.

Abby and Brittany share blood and all organs below the waist. Each twin also controls one arm and one leg. (Abby is the conjoined twin on the left, while Brittany is on the right.)

After the twins were born in 1990, their parents chose not to have a separate operation after they were told by doctors that it was unlikely that both sisters would survive the procedure.

They are pursuing a career as primary school teachers, and their mother, Patti Henselhe told the camera during an episode of Abby & Brittany“I remember one wanted to be a pilot and the other wanted to be a dentist and that was temporary. I think they will do well [working as teachers] because they have always been good with children and children have always loved them.”
