How to play Connections: Sports Edition
The rules are almost the same as the regular game. You are given 16 words and asked to put them into four groups that are connected in some way. The main difference is that all names and categories have some kind of sports tie-in. Sometimes the categories seem obvious, but the game tries to trick you by using sports-related words that can fit into more than one category. And four groups of words with different levels of difficulty. Yellow is the easiest and most purple, but you won’t know which color group it belongs to until you solve the puzzle.
You don’t have to be a sports geek to solve Connections: Sports Edition, but it does help to know a little about a bunch of different sports and athletes. Names may include player names, team names or sports-related activities.
