Naked Esaba alum Sarah Danser died Sunday, October 20, at the age of 34 following a car accident in Kahala, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Local newspaper KSLA reports that Danser died on Tuesday, October 22, after being involved in a car accident, citing Honolulu police. Danser was a passenger in a car driven by a 59-year-old man heading east, lost control and crashed into a parked car, police said.
Danser was hospitalized in critical condition and died from his injuries two days later.
The driver of the car was also hospitalized in critical condition, according to a news release. Authorities say speed appears to be a factor in the crash, not drugs or alcohol.

Danser first appeared on a reality show Naked Esaba in 2017 in season 8 and returned in season 11. He also participated in seasons 4, 6, and 7 of the spinoff show XL naked and scared. Last year, Danser appeared in another reality show, Fight To Survivewhich aired on The CW.
The survivor’s brother, Jake Dancertold KSLA, “Magic is a way to describe him. Sarah had this positive energy about her that just filled the space she was in.”
“Actually, I have seen how much of a difference he has made in the lives of others. I think he saved my life once, diving in Indonesia,” Danser’s father, Dan Danserhe said as he left.
“He was smart. He went under the water. He found food, slugs and snails and the like. “He knew what he had to do to survive and he did very well,” added Danser’s friend Tim Mason.
According to family members, Danser, originally from Castle Rock, Colorado, had lived in Hawaii for about 12 years.
On his Instagram page, Danser described himself as a “boat captain, scuba diver, survivor” and “pirate.”
Danser’s employer, Island Divers Hawaii, paid tribute to the true star on Facebook on Thursday, October 24. “Hearts ache as we say goodbye to a good friend and great captain. Sarah brought great energy to everyone she met. He will be greatly missed,” the organization said in a statement.

Danser’s death comes two years after the death of another survivor Melanie Rausch July 2022 I am 35 years old. Rausch and Danser collaborate XL naked and scared season 4, which aired in 2018, when they were trying to survive in the South African desert and Dustin “Duck” Campbell.
