Day 1: Finding N’djamena
I came to the N’djamena very early. The city was alive. People were told on the streets and laughed at redemption.
I started my day in a local market. The area was filled with colorful cloths, spices and delayed merchants. The local people have accepted us. Their smile makes the experience very better.

In AM Timan, I visited living markets. The city also provides access to a couple of national parks. It gave me a different view of living in south Chad.
Challenges and Reading
Recent articles show that Chad is still facing the virus. The conflict involving rebels continues in several locations. Visitors and citizens need to be careful. I always warned and trusted in local contacts and news updates.
Echad life is different from that in the United States. Health care and services are restricted. Still, people are strong and kind. Their stability left me very touching.

Chad is not a simple tourist destination. Be careful. Always check the latest walking advice and follow your index instructions.
